(Atlantic City, NJ, June 30, 2009) – The Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA) has announced that Atlantic City is a nominee in the ‘Favorite Convention City’ category of the TSEA Foundation Exhibitors Choice Awards. TSEA is a leading organization for exhibit and event professionals.
The public is welcome to vote on the awards at http://www.tsea.org/Foundation/ExhibitorsChoiceAwards/tabid/281/Default.aspx
Voting is open until July 8 on all nine categories. Awards will be announced at the TSEA Foundation Gala on July 22 in Chicago.
“It’s an honor to be nominated,” said Jeff Vasser, president of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA), “particularly since the nominations come from exhibitors and attendees of conventions and trade shows around the country. These are our visitors who are here on business, and it proves that Atlantic City is a great business destination.”
Atlantic City is one of a large field of nominees including Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Chicago; Dallas; Hershey, PA; Houston; Honolulu; Las Vegas; Miami; Milwaukee; New Orleans; Orlando; Rosemont, IL; Salt Lake City; San Francisco; and Toronto.
According to the ACCVA’s vice president of convention development, “We’re part of a list that includes some cities that have been considered the top convention destinations for many years. This shows how much Atlantic City’s recent growth has helped establish us as a destination for conventions as well as tourists. We urge everyone to cast a vote for Atlantic City before July 8 to help us spread the word that Atlantic City is THE place to bring conventions and meetings.”
