CELEBRATE THE 100th ANNIVERSARY OF RV-ING AT THE 15TH ANNUAL ATLANTIC CITY RV & CAMPING SHOW
Show Starts Friday, Mar. 5 at the Atlantic City Convention Center
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – (February 11, 2010) – In 1910, the very first car campers and camping trailers rolled out of America’s factories, giving birth to a uniquely American pastime, RVing. These humble campers are a far cry from the sophisticated modern day RVs that will be on display at the 15th annual Atlantic City RV & Camping Show, sponsored by GEICO. The event will take place March 5-7, 2010, at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
Anyone who loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors will want to check out just how far the RV industry has come. Today’s recreational vehicles feature fully-equipped kitchens and baths, rooms that slide out at the touch of a button, central air and heat, plasma TVs, surround sound stereos, extra room to haul recreational “toys” and much more. RV travelers enjoy the ultimate in travel freedom and can go where they want, when they want, without the stress of inflexible schedules, advance reservations, airport lines or luggage fees
This year’s show will feature leading RV dealers from across the region offering new class A, B and C motorhomes, toy haulers, park models, tent campers, travel trailers and hybrid travel trailers. The show will also feature RV services and accessories along with information on an array of campgrounds across the region, camping equipment, apparel and accessories.
The 100th Anniversary of RVing and camping, as well as an optimistic industry outlook for 2010, will give campers and RV exhibitors alike even more reasons to celebrate at the show. “This is an exciting time for the RV and camping industry, and we are thrilled to be hosting such an impressive variety of new rigs of all sizes, types and price points,” says show manager, Harry Lutz. “The demand has already been strong this year, and the show will be a great opportunity for RV and camping enthusiasts to get a first look at the 2010 models.”
The newest “green” RV model on the market – the EverGreen Ever-Lite® travel trailer – will be on display and for sale at the show. Manufactured by EverGreen Recreational Vehicles LLC, an Indiana-based company, the Ever-Lite is revolutionizing the RV industry. The 15th annual Atlantic City RV & Camping Show will take place at the Atlantic City Convention Center Mar. 5-7, 2010.
